Video Converter and Compressor

I have the premium subscription. I got this to convert movie/video files to audio and it's great for that. As for film and video, if you're completely new to this sort of thing there IS a learning curve but after some playing around with it, I was able to take video that had been broken up into shorter clips and seamlessly merge them back together. I can't even recall exactly how I did it now and would probably make the same mistakes at first while trying to jog my memory, but when you know what you're doing, this is a handy, worthwhile little app. There's a lot more I haven't even explored. If you regularly play music files on various devices and have issues with file compatibility on different devices, this will solve your problem.

I have a lifetime premium blah blah whatever. I love this app but if you don’t fix how it manages memory I’m done with it. It was taking up 60 gigabytes of memory even though I delete every file after conversion and clear app cache. That’s ridiculous. The worse part is I use this one three different devices and everyone of them it does the same thing. The biggest problem is that it starts showing the memory being taken up in the “other” on old iOS and “system memory” on newer iOS so there is no way to get rid of it short of restoring the phone to new. This has been an issue for at least a year (since I have been using it) and I can’t be the only one having it. FIX IT! Update to your response. Yes I’m aware of deleting the file from your app as I said I did above. It doesn’t matter. It still just sits somewhere in memory and never clears. And again this happens on every device I own so I know I cannot be the only one with the problem.

When you convert a file to MP4 from AVI you can’t play the file from the folder it puts it in because it’s a temporary folder that the program uses. You try and play the file from that folder and it will relaunch the program thinking that you are converting it. You have to either copy or move it to another folder. Moved the output from the temporary folder into my Chrome Downloads folder and it played just fine. The author needs to have a way in the app itself to either move or copy your output to another folder. Maybe in settings you could specify a default outlet folder.
