My mother forgets to take her meds most morning and she doesn't know how to set an alarm on her phone and their are portable machines that could remind her and give it to her but they are pricey idk like $500 or more anyway I just thought I would make something for her maybe ask them for pointers of what it lack what it would be nice to add and later on maybe make one for other elderly people or share this one and change the look of the app anyway I found this app after searching up how to develop an app and their was a lot I first downloaded this one and so far I'm not disappointed although I still don't know what the credit is all about after detailing what I wanted for an app when it was made it said I had credit and 70 cent went into the building of it idk downloaded and made the app 20 minutes ago still getting use to everything but I don't feel rushed or like anything over priced I like the option to go free or pay the $20 or more everything I like especially since this is all New I like how it explained if I wanted to make a plant app from their I learned what I needed to write to make my med app when I was making it I wasn't thinking to much this being new and idk what I envisioned for an app but I'll leave that for another day anyway it's nice to get help from something like this you don't know what to do to build it just explain and then wait for it to be done and add all sorts of things later with family and share it with them just them or with the world and make another its sort of fun gets my creativity juices flowing nice its coming from the heart and little by little your thoughts and everyone else it's like a fun project
It really is a cool app and Iโve had a lot of fun building my Complete Camping App with it. If you run into any issues, the team is responsive and very supportive. I really pushed the capabilities and was able to pretty much find a way to execute on any functionality I wanted to include. Iโve been using the Vibecode app for the past couple months. It started off rather clunky, but very quickly got smoother and more sophisticated. I donโt know what the guys are doing back there, but the improvements are almost daily at this point. Obviously the cost is relative to the scope of your project. I canโt think of anywhere else that you could build out a fully functional and robust app for a couple hundred bucks. But you could whip together a simple app for much less.
They charged $20/month during its beta phase, where it the app was very unstable and some days usable other days not at all. Unpredictable updates, agent worked well some days and others would produce much lower quality output if at all. This is on top of the fact that app development through vibe coding can get you started but you quickly max out and get stuck on being able to make meaningful progress. Then the developer made an update that made the agent keep saying it was making changes when no changes were happening and then prompt tiers were implemented when all the prompts go towards trying to get the agent to recognize that itโs not making changes or trying to fix the same bugs over and over again. This felt so unreasonable when the new rate for dealing with these issues were $50/month for 300 prompts, with the next tier being $199/month. Itโs so easy to use all prompts with in a week or two just to get the agent to fix the mistakes it makes. Support is pretty responsive but a lot of it entails you giving your app name and they doing something in the back end, or telling you your prompts are not specific enough. Overall itโs clear the team is very focused on monetization first and quality and stability second.
