This app provides just a very basic tour and corresponding information of a very limited series of artworks in the Vatican Museums. This app has a series of problems: 1: The number of artworks explained is really limited. It is a disfavor to the richness of knowledge within the Vatican Museums. 2: The listener can choose between a machine voice (terrible) or download the voice of the real person. Even with this last option, the quality of the narration is not good, as the names in Italian are badly mispronounced, sounding as a tourist trying to pronounce a foreign name for the first time. 3: Depending on your cellphone configuration, when one is listening to an explanation, if the cellphone goes to sleep (generally after a minute), the voice from this app stops, cutting short the experience of watching a piece of art while listening to its explanation. This app has a couple of good things. One is that the explanations from moving to one place to the other is well done, with pictures of the premises. The other is that the few explanations of artworks are fine, but, again, there are very few explanations. I’m overall, this app disappoints. Better to get the audio guide from the Museum, which has better explanations and the number of artwork explained is huge.
Too many artworks but with this app I could visit main things of this incredible place. You could put more artworks but I was really satisfied. Thanks for this great voice, very inspirational and interesting narrations
