VAST: Autism and Apraxia - CAS

My child is non-verbal but when we both initally sat down to review the app I was surprised to hear her either pronouncing all the words or attempting to pronounce words in one session. I have never seen this before. I have noticed a difference in her outside of our sessions where she is pronouncing or making the attempt to say words that are not associated with this app. Thanks SpeakinMotion for showing me the potential in my child.

The kids I have used this with are very intrigued! The number of videos is small. Please add more content, especially to the multisyllabic words section. Update: I have ended up using this often with students and am finding it to be a great tool,and one I go back to often. I use this primarily with students with severe articulation difficulties. By the way they all LOVE the mirror. I think a record feature would be a hit with them too! I like the update for the customized playlists.

I was lucky enough to be able to receive this app as a gift and as I was looking through the videos and starting to decide maybe it wasn't all it was cracked up to be my non-verbal three year old crawled over to where I was and started imitating the sounds! Instant change of opinion. My compliments and many thanks to the developer. I would have bought this app myself already if I had known that I would see such instant results.
