Why does my “Ultimate Mobile Gaming Controller” have back paddle buttons yet this app doesn’t let you send M1 and M2 signals to iOS that are clearly defined in the controller SDK? And they are so obviously visible in iOS controller settings. 8BitDo just says “nah, best I can do is let the back paddles copy another input”. This is made even worse by the fact that that iOS hijacks the “back/select/view” button. You know, the one that’s used by 90% of games for stuff like inventory, maps, settings. Not possible. Thanks for nothing.
I see what they were trying to do here, but There are a LOT of bugs when trying to customize my Ultimate 2 Bluetooth controller. Sliders don’t work and glitch out (I had a trigger zone stuck on “2” and had to fiddle with it for 15 minutes to reset it to 0 because it wouldn’t move to the right) I also couldn’t customize the RGB lighting, even though I finally got it where I like (with the wonky sliders) it never saved to the controller. Needs a lot of work.
How did you guys make version 2 even worse? The app won’t let me add any functions to the PR button. Not only that, but why did you take away the ability to add turbo functionality? In version 1 I was able to add turbo to any button. Now I can’t add it all. it’s not even an option. I don’t know why I can’t just connect it to version 1. Why did you have to make a new app at all? This is the same with Mac and PC. Only version 1 on the phone you were able to add these features. Please fix this.
