UK Weather Radar - Live Rain

Having being messed around so much by the new owners of the once brilliant WeatherPro app, I was looking desperately for a replacement. Then I found UKWeatherMaps which although a little less polished, is in fact the perfect alternative. No more pressure maps unless I pay for a costly subscription (I hate that). Maximum kudos to the developers here. A one-off payment gets you the whole app with no hidden extras at ridiculous fees. £3.99? Bargain! Thank you! 5 stars!

Simply laid out with buttons on bottom of screen to switch views and tap top forecast area to drill down for more details. This ease of use does NOT mean lack of accurate information. It’s one of the few apps I’ve found with synoptic charts and the data is sourced from reputable sources like Met Office and IBM Weather Company.

Found this weather app while searching for more mainstream weather apps and glad I found it. Love the animation in a clear and precise way to easily see all the information you could possibly need. One of the very best apps out there bar none. However I have to knock one star off because you can only set things up in metric or imperial units meaning you can have temperature in centigrade but wind in km/h or wind in mp/h but temperatures in Fahrenheit. If the developer was able to change this small feature to allow us to set both up individually to our preferences this would easily be a five star app. Yes I’m nit picking but the rest of it is that good I have to in order to hope it gets perfected.
