Twingate

For a remote access/VPN app, the setup and maintenance of the actual mechanisms (especially on a self-hosted platform) are great. My only hangup is when trying to authenticate to my remote network… I connect to then VPN tunnel but then I need to authenticate to my DNS service. I can’t authenticate to DNS without DNS available because my endpoint is connected to the VPN (without DNS). Give the login order of operations a re-think, please.

Works well and can connect to what I have a connector on but once I updated the app to the recent one I just crashes. I have an iPhone 15 Pro. I will change to 5 stars once it works.

Works well for me to connect to remote servers while out on my phone. However it’s a noticeable battery hog. According to iOS battery settings, TwinGate has used 18% of my battery over the last 24 hours for background activity. I’ve had it installed for a week, and I’ve come to the conclusion that it needs to be turned off when not in use, otherwise it’ll really drain your battery down.
