For the most part, the map is pretty accurate, with the exception of some missing countries and borders. Some countries and cities are somewhat harder to find, but most are pretty mainstream and easy to find. One of the hardest ones is Easter Island, even thought it is not a country, and is in the middle of the Pacific ocean. I like the little things that you unlock that go on the map that are so fun. They make the map look so fun! The area where the pin goes that shows where the country is makes no sense for some. For example, the one in Canada is somewhere in Alberta. I thought that it would be where the capitals of the country is. But it is not, because the pin for North Korea is located in South Korea. There are many other inaccuracies, but I would have to make an essay to show them all. Also, some of the cities are spelled wrong, which at first made me very confused. Algiers is Algers, and Mexico City is just Mexico. This made me confused because the theme was cities, not countries. There are parts of the map that are wrong. For example, the Great Lakes are missing. This makes it hard to find some cities nearby. Overall, I do like this game, because it is good for people that love geography, and people that want to know where certain countries and cities are, although it does get quite repetitive and boring if you play the game for a long time.
I am Zigzagisfun, the person that pointed out the North Korea issue. That is not the only issue, though. I will categorize issues into 2 categories: Geography (borders and stuff), and Cities. These will exclude the North Korea problem. 1. Geography First of all, why is Senegal connected to Mali? Did Mali conquer Senegal? (Or did Senegal conquer Mali?) Oh no, now Crimea is connected to Russia, allowing the troops to freely pass through. Save Crimea + Disconnect Crimea from Russia I guess Copenhagen doesnโt need bridges to connect to Sweden anymore, since they are connected by land now! 2. Cities What is Bombay? Just a typo of Mumbai, right? What even is Dubaรฏ.. Iโm losing brain cells seeing that. Alger? You mean Algiers, right? Mexico? Thatโs a country though! (Off screen person: actually they mean Mexico City they arenโt including the city in it) Oh, ok. Anyway, those are all the issues I found. Please fix those, and Iโll change this to 5 stars.
I really wanted to play this game to test my geography knowledge and overall just have some fun, however itโs really shows how stupid the developers are when when to get a perfect score you have to know exactly where in China or India the developers placed the victory point even though itโs not consistent with itโs capital or anything else involved. I am very ashamed of playing this game where iโm the 2nd round I was the closet to Justin Bieberโs birth place (in Ontario) however the game said I was the farthest because this dumb game counts him being from Canada and no places it in the middle. If you know anything about where the population is distributed in Canada you would know that it is probable that he is from somewhere in the Ontario region, I mean thah is what I thought. Regardless, I know nothing will change from this message and I doubt the developers would care to change it. Even though this crucial mistake needs to be fixed, the devs arenโt going to change anything. In the end, I am the fool.
