Trap Master: Merge Defense

Though there are some issues I’ve been playing for a month or two and I haven’t gotten the beehive and it’s the best weapon and I’m really mad but I’m still waiting out of five stars because it just doesn’t keep every 10 seconds it asks you to make a ad but it advertises you to get stuff and for honest opinion I shouldn’t be giving this a five star but I’m still giving it because it doesn’t have any bugs ps everyone that plays this game that I know of are my friends so this is why I’m giving it a five star I recommend you download it it’s a fun game to play when you’re sad it will make you Up by destroying your enemies and punching them in the socket!!!!

I’m no expert strategist, but there hasn’t been a PvP battle so far where I feel like the other player has too much of an advantage. It’s pretty straightforward how you might succeed. For any new players, don’t forget to upgrade your mercenaries before battle if you want a chance to win, because they’re not remotely fit to fight against anyone’s traps at low low levels. I LOVE that there isn’t a single forced ad in this game. You can either double/triple/etc your rewards/earnings, or not. And there’s PLENTY of opportunities to increase your earnings. Plus you get rewarded for watching just a few ads in the daily quests, so it’s definitely worth it. Gold starts getting harder to come by the longer you play, which isn’t so bad since it’s easy to get more trap duplicates and keys. The only downside is that it IS very repetitive. Extremely similar styled maps, same goal, and it’s actually more challenging in PvP than the “story mode” because you just know what to expect. Personally that makes grinding for gold a lot easier, but not everyone’s a fan of grinding. If that’s not your thing, then don’t get too invested until you’ve played long enough to decide if you really really like it. Overall, if I were just criticizing the game, it’d be a 4/5, but since I’m enjoying myself and plan on keeping it on my phone, it’s getting the full 5, lol.

Lots of fun, love it. But one complaint is that there are too many ads for rewards and you can’t buy out of them. The thing about it that really bothers me in this game, that I have never seen before in another game, and causes me to delete a star is this: There is a thing called “research” that you can spend 100 gems on. Gems are the iap currency (you can also earn it in the game but it’s the currency you can also buy with real money). When you spend 100 gems for research you get a random bonus like extra HP or attack for your devices. Cool. But one of the random research things that can happen is you get an increased chance to get a skill at the beginning of each game. Sounds good, right? WRONG. You’ve spend gems on this research so it should be good. BUT When you get the reward skill now at the beginning of your games YOU HAVE TO WATCH AN AD FOR IT. So basically you have just spent iap currency, possibly real money, to get an advertisement for an ad at the beginning of every single game. 😳🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬😭😭😭😭😭 You can opt in or out of the ad but you have to watch a while thing about the skill and you have to be careful not to click the ad if you don’t want to watch it. This takes time and it’s annoying. I can’t express enough how much I hate that! So much that even though I love the game I seriously might delete it for this. Please please please FIX THIS where if you get the skill from spending your iap gems you don’t have to watch an ad (or take the time to skip the ad). Basically I just spent money to make the game WORSE for me — the gems causing a screen to opt in or out of an ad at Every. Single. Game.
