Definitely fun and addicting with a very friendly community! Server 19 represent! You start off with literally nothing up to creating and expanding your own little empire. You get your own market place, bank, hospital, estate, restaurant, place of living etc. Then you meet multiple wives, have kids to raise and hire your own military and which all make you stronger over time when you pour time and resources in. Tons of timed mini games every 1-3 days against your own server, cross server, guild vs guild stats and interactions! You don’t need to spend money, but It has it’s paid benefits so yes it’s somewhat paid to win, but it’s not impossible to get to the top playing for free. It’s very expensive after VIP experience level 3 which in my opinion isn’t worth it unless you got money to burn. Money mainly gives you an edge on the timed mini games, getting stronger retainers and high intimacy beauties, most of them probably cost $500-$1k once you get the VIP experience to earn them. In-game currency ingots is where VIP “Top up” is how you earn this. Restrain yourself or you will get sucked in… I spent like maybe $45 and I’m in an okay spot just to see a free to play player just under me that played just under a week longer than me and tbh after maybe an hour of claiming you rewards and earning after daily reset… there’s not much else to do for a few hours, UNLESS YOU GOT THE MONEY.

- First off, this game is mostly P2W, BUT as a F2P player myself, it's not hard to level up, as long as you do the dallies. - In my server specifically Midas-S4, I haven't seen anyone getting bullied in world chat, it's mostly just people supporting/helping each other. Although the chat is not moderated, I still think a report chat button should be implemented just in case a problem ensues. - I see that a main issue for people is how the game is "sexist/racist". Well, considering this game is based of Ancient China, it just makes sense. In the Ancient days, women were not respected and mostly seen as an object to gain heirs and damsels in distress. This game easily portrays that, and it may be considered "sexist", but you cannot deny what happened in the past, and this game basically just teaches you history (in a fictional/cartoony sense). Also, I don't recall how a character having slanted eyes is "racist" when that's a prominent facial feature on many asians. - This game just reminds me of wuxia and xianxias, which are both period CDramas, so I guess I have a different viewpoint than most. - Honestly, if you have an issue with the game's design, then don't play it, but also don't write hateful reviews filled with slander because of your ignorance of Chinese history.

Great game! I’ve been playing Golden Bazaar for a good bit and I’m glad this game has its similarities while remaining unique. My only complaints/suggestions are these. I like that you can have both male and female Beauties, but it’s a bit weird to have the male Esquire be the mother of an heir. Also, some of the events talk about wives when GB had “companions” as the key word to keep it gender neutral. If there was a way to use that similar gender neutral terminology regarding the harem since you can have both male and female beauties, that would be awesome. I also would like to second another review in stopping the mechanic of the heir’s voice line playing every time I tap to raise them. It gets annoying especially when I fast tap to get through vitality quickly. Other than that, I love this game!
