Todo Math

As a mom, I love this game for my 3 yr old because now he’s learning math at a kindergarten level and doesn’t even realize it. We love how the graphics are non-overstimulating and how clear, well thought-out the math problems are organized and designed. Please keep up the great work and love put into this app for kids. Searched everywhere and nothing beats this app in terms of math-friendly games for preschoolers without over-the-top cartoons. The graphics are clean and classy. 5 stars

Overall, this is the best scaffolding math app that I could find for our daughter who has played other great math apps like MathTango, Endless Numbers, ST Math, LogicLike and others. We wish the handwriting recognizer would be everywhere and we want the developers to add Apple Pencil support everywhere too! The multiplication and division apps seem the weakest and need more thought. For multiplication, tying skip counting to multiplication would be nice and, for both multiplication and division, having more pragmatic scaffolding would be nice; like, use a math model of 5 cars have 5 x 4 wheels, 7 ducks have 7 x 2 feet, etc… and division could be modeled as “how much pizza does each kid get if it’s evenly divided between 5 plates or how many candies does each kid in their Halloween bag if it’s evenly divided between 6 kids.” The quick math (addition) app could be repurposed to support multiplication and it would be a nice way for kids to build up a multiplication table. i.e. 7x0 ducks, 7x1 ducks, etc… Fractions could be further improved by showing glasses that didn’t have equal parts next to glasses that had equal parts so kids would have to choose the glass with equal parts. That said, our daughter loves this app (a lot) and plays it everyday.

Sad to see only two profiles can be made. My youngest is more advanced in her math skills and dealing with the tears because she can’t play the same app as her older siblings is hard to explain. Also doesn’t accommodate if someone has twins or a blended family of children at the same age. Lastly, I wish some way there were more things in place to prevent some of the guessing that kids can be tempted to do. Is there a more tangible consequence to guesswork that I may not be aware of? I know it’s so easy for people to list negative so don’t think this is an overall negative review - the animation is great, the soundtrack and sounds are so cute, and I love the well-rounded approach to number/equation comprehension. Is there a separate app for 3rd grade and beyond? I’m already interested! Thank you!
