Tide - Mobile Business Banking

Was really pleased when TIDE was new and they looked after their customers, over the last few months it has gone down hill, guessing now that they have become a successful company they don’t care about their customers so much! In the current climate when times are hard they have increased their cost for paying in at the post office from £1.00 to £2.50! When you are a small business and paying in a couple of hundred pounds at a time it’s crazy, i mean 150% rise, that’s absolutely ridiculous!! I have also had problems with payments from customers as some of the larger banks don’t recognise TIDE. I don’t like some of the new features like ‘Payment link’ which is always switched on, should be off rather than on as if you forget to turn it off on every invoice you send, you will be charged!! Being a customer from the time TIDE was small and upcoming, they offered a great service and the free invoicing was a great ‘pull’ for me. But now I’m o lay allowed to send 3 free per month, another greedy addition to becoming bigger! They should be looking after the very customers that supported them in their early days rather than pushing us away. Will be looking for an alternative to TIDE.

I have been with Tide for a number of years and used many of the features within the app in that time, one good thing I have found about the Tide app so far is how everything you ned is in one place. The smart features have been making my life a lot easier, having the ability to create really quick invoices has saved me a load of time. I signed up for the cashback account as I was looking into ways to make my money go further. Been able to save up a very decent amount already which I will use to bring down some business costs. Another feature I have been making use of is the expense cards for my workers, makes it a lot easier for them to purchase materials whenever they need them. I can just go into the account and easily check the transactions to make sure nothing is wrong. I would suggest any tradesmen working for themselves to get a Tide account, it's made my life a lot easier and can really help save time when it comes to preparing company accounts for taxes and allow you to take your business to the next level.

Needed an account to accept payments for my graphic design freelancing work so I thought id try Tide. The app has a smooth interface and lays everything out nicely. I have experienced no issues since opening my account and it has only made collecting payments better for me! As a one man band the most important thing for me is making business admin as quick as possible so I can spend more time doing actual work. My next plan is to take out a business loan to get some new equipment and software so having the feature where I can track my credit score is super useful, I am slowly building up my score and will test out the business loan feature in a few months time. I would say for freelancers Tide is the perfect app has absolutley everything needed to get up and running and even if you do run into any issues the support on the app is top class!! Defo worth a download in my opinion Finally a bank with a straightforward sign up process, from start to finish my account was set up in minutes. It was a real life saver for me as my old business account was not working and I had a client that wanted to pay up before they went on annual leave. Nice, simple and has everything needed to manage my business finances.
