I feel like they teach to much things in one class. Like today we’re talking about fractions and then next class we’re talking about Algebra. I wish it was like every 2 or 3 classes we change to a different subject.
There are so many bugs I cannot list them all but one of the main things that bother me is the fact that in many of the text on the screen, there are missing spaces in them. Many of the class features are laggy and on the windows desktop version the full screen button refuses to work. Sometimes in class the fill in the black doesn’t work. On a computer, the camera quality is awful even if your camera is not bad. When replaying, there is no sound or video from students that are talking and questions like fill-in-the-blanks will not show. Sometimes mid-class the screen freezes and the teacher speeds up after it unfreezes even though I always have a good connection. Although this app is buggy, the coin shop is good to motivate kids to learn.
This app has been very user friendly and feature-packed ever since the transition from the now discontinued ThinkHub app (oh my gosh, that was a pain in the neck). The three things I would recommend adding to the app is the ability to turn camera on/off when someone is speaking (i.e. when you or someone else gets called up to the stage). Another thing that should be added is the ability to view who is in the meeting, instead of seeing four people like we do now. Lastly, when the student is speaking when on stage, add the student’s voice to the playback, or at least put closed captioning when the student is speaking. Personally, I think that the app is good, but there is still room for improvement.
