I signed up for the subscription so I could log in more food stores than the free version. I have now not used the app for several months and have been trying to cancel my subscription but the email they provide for customer service never responds. I have emailed several times and there is no phone number to call. Next step will be disputing the charge with my credit card provider.
I was super excited about the concept of the app to categorize, inventory and keep a list ready to go. Turns out, you can only inventory ten items before needing to pay $6/month indefinitely. That’s not something I’m interested in. I know they’re trying to make an income through the app, but as a prepping mom, being on the hook for another service indefinitely is not fiscal preparedness. If the inventory option was free and the bonus content was paid, that would make the most sense. To get users invested in the app before having them commit money to the community. The money grab up front makes the app worthless to me and I’ll be deleting until it becomes more accessible up front.
The Preparedness Project is just what I needed to start my emergency preparedness! I had been using other inventory apps but they weren’t very functional and the aesthetics were not there. When I was introduced to the app, it was very functional and it gave me tools I needed to stay organized. The aesthetics were an added plus! In the short time that I have had the app, I have managed to build a 3 month emergency food/water supply and toiletries! This app has been a huge game changer for me and it’s motivating to keep going with building my stores.
