Cheap and tacky with bugs

The app is nicely presented and simple and the actual training content itself is ok. There are a few elements in the app design and user experience which make it less superior than others out there. For example, you need to click through too many icons to see how many sets and reps of an exercise within a workout which is super annoying. The app feels cheap and tacky and has bugs. The meal plan doesn’t allow swapping options/items and the flexible tracking tool is ok - myfitnesspal is easier tbh. Went back to the Bodies By Rachel app which is an amazing app experience. I think this app could be great it just needs a bit more work, it feels a bit ‘not there yet’ but definitely could be. Lastly, very annoyed at how hard it was to cancel and ended up getting charged by auto renewal before finally just lodging a case with apple to help get it cancelled. Glad to see I am helping fund Sophie’s lavish lifestyle and shopping habits tho.

Unauthorised payment/Unethical company

After watching Sophie’s reviews about the upcoming 6 week challenge I decided to give the app one more go. I had used it in the last challenge, however the app continually glitched and did not work properly. I also wanted to see if the challenge was different to the last time around, however it was just a reinvention of the previous challenge, burpees sit ups and squats. Boring. Sophie clearly stated on many occasions that everyone was able to receive a 7 day trial, you just needed to sign in using a different email address. Which I did. However I was immediate charged. After contacting customer service to request a refund I was basically told I wasn’t entitled to the 7 day free trial because I had used the app before and it wasn’t their problem. Clearly false advertising and a way to make people get caught into paying again. Total cash grab. Complete rip off and very unethical staff.

I don’t recommend

While this app has lots of recipes and workouts. If you choose to not follow the meal plan you have to add each ingredient individually every time, there’s no way of creating your own recipe. You can’t switch out foods in the meal plan. On the first day I used it I added in half my days worth of food then went back to add more and everything had been deleted. Today I opened the app and I can’t see any of the programmed work outs. At the start I had issues signing in to my account (partly my fault) I contacted support and it took 3 weeks to figure out what had happened and that was only after I contacted Sophie directly. I love Sophie and the Bod but I don’t love this app.
