Techne Futbol: Soccer Training

My players have thrived in the competitive environment Techne creates with our club and my team! Getting familiar with the ball below your feet is part of the muscle memory needed to excel in the sport of football/soccer. As a coach I see a direct correlation between our players putting in their Techne time and their confidence distributing, holding, passing, and even shooting the ball. Our club stresses Techne during the winter months as we are unable to get out on the pitch to train and indoor time is limited. I can’t wait to see my team take the pitch in the spring and I will continue to put forth the “Weekly Techne Challenge” when it comes to minutes spent training on their own during our outdoor seasons. Techne is the equivilant of having a coach at home when your players are away from training and games. I recommend Techne to any aspiring club or team to sharpen skills at home. 💯!!

I love Techne so much. I can compete with teammates doing different drills made up of dribbling skills, wall passing, and juggling. Coaches can see your progress too. You can also put in custom leaderboards with sisters, brothers, or other friend not on your team. You can see improvement within yourself, and become a way better soccer player. To keep a streak you have to complete ten minutes of training a day. One thing I would recommend is putting in a function where players can put in how long their games are and that could count towards your streak minutes. I know that people could misuse that though. But also I know you are supposed to train outside of set games an practices so understand why not to put that in. All and all the I have seen improvement in juggling and one on one moves. I love this app!!

I’ve coached at various levels for a lot of years. Pre-pro to U10, other people’s kids to my kids. I’ve never met a player who couldn’t benefit from an app like this. And not just benefit, but have fun benefitting. Most recently, my daughter joined a club using this program. I’ve never seen such a dramatic change of interest in an endeavor. She uses this app every day, beyond the times asked by her coach. She can’t get enough of it. All she needs is one person near her time to compete with and she’s back on it. So whether it’s on her own team, on another team at the club, or on the Techne leaderboard, there’s always someone she can compete with. And most importantly, she’s competing with herself. She’s been trying harder to improve than ever in the years that I coached her. Upon trying out for club, she became internally driven. She became the example I always talk about, “it’s gotta come from the inside if they want to excel.” She was never a zero in skill, but the drive was rarely there for long. Since January I’ve seen a solid growth mindset in her (this being April). Since joining the club a month ago and using Techne Futbol for the past 10 days, I’ve seen her effort and dedication and drive grow exponentially. And I don’t see it slowing anytime soon. (And now with the school shutdowns and limited spaces for training and interaction with coaches...there’s no better app for soccer players to improve or keep up their skills) In sum, Techne Futbol gets my highest recommendation. I wish it were around when I started coaching and my own kids started playing.
