TDS TV+

I think this app needs improvement. Because when you go to watch certain channels on the guide that you subscribe to, and try to watch it on an iPad it only says details! But yet if you go to a different channel like ABC or CBS, it says watch live! This app really needs more improvement! This is the reason why I am rating this low.

This app and TV service from TDS is usable, just barely. Frequent stream freezes, frequent errors that say channel cannot be streamed, Picture in Picture on iPad is very unstable. Base TV service on any device or streaming appliance results in spotty availability on CBS and NBC. Frequent “channel not available” errors. I am very disappointed overall with the TDS TV service. Looking for other options given that Spectrum does not offer tv streaming without their internet service. I have opened support tickets for these issues and they have never been addressed.

I had dropped a service that I thought was really good for what I thought was even better. I was sold snake oil. Streaming is not possible if you are not connected to your home network. The app is useless. I was curious why they had to install a box on my tv when I said I have AppleTV and can stream from that. I was told it was necessary but could still use my appletv. This is true if I never leave the house. When signing in on AppleTV at my cabin, I get a location error and nothing plays including channels that are not regional. I will be going back to my old service.
