Tally Counter & Habit Tracker

I’ve been using this as a simple tracker for caloric intake throughout the day, but I can already tell this app has would be great for many different purposes. Its simplicity makes it adaptable and customizable for endless uses, so your imagination is the only limit. I look forward to finding more ways to integrate this powerful little tool into my daily life! Also worth nothing that I love the “pay once and use forever” subscription model (this is a sound investment!). The developer deserves high marks, too—I recently submitted feedback after a version update and they actually took the time to send a very helpful response.

Best features and best value tally app! Just a few days of use but already changing my life. Love the widgets. Could I request a consecutive days “streaks” feature? Use case: I’m using the “plus” button to award myself credits for completing habits. Occasionally, I will spend the credits, and need to reset the counter to 0, but I want to preserve the number of consecutive days in a row I did the habit. The streaks feature could be optional for each tally so users can turn it on or off depending on whether it is relevant to that tally. I notice you already sort of have this feature, but would like some widget variations that display the number of consecutive days (streak).

Apps like these are not overly difficult to make I understand “nothing is free” however stuff like this can be free with ads. Instead they reduce its functionality without paying (there’s still ads). The traffic alone is a fair trade for the up keep and development of an app of this kind. There’s no widgets or settings that could make the app more helpful than a note you keep open or log of progress for free (I wanted to track my calories) these are limited or removed for the free version. Really the app itself works (some of the ad space is ugly though) but for basic logic apps like this you should not be expected to pay. (to be clear I appreciate the dev actually taking feed back. however as it stood when I used the free version, it was as functional as pre installed and existing software on every phone out there. Don’t make A free app that is useless if you don’t pay that’s not free.)If I were to actually try to give constructive criticism, the widget is absolutely required however you go about it you need to leave that in the app for everyone otherwise it serves no purpose. If I have to open the app to keep a tally throughout the day it serves as much purpose as a blank note. And to encourage people to get the paid version I’d add in customization let them change colors fonts and the name of tally’s etc helping it look more at home on their phone. Maybe multiple tally’s at once for paid and not free, or reminders that can be sent at specific times or quotas for the tally. Good luck with development in the future!
