Overall, this app is better than most of the similar apps out there. Was worth paying for to support the developer. The things that would make it perfect (for me) aren't really big, but they are quality of life features that I really wish were present.- Feedback link in the app doesn't work. "Your mail isn't set up". Not everyone uses the built in Mail app. - Graphs are limited to bars grouped by time period. Should be able to display tally groups as either stacked column or line graphs to see everything together. If I want to view "daily" stats, then I want to see the total count, per day, over time. I don't want to just see one day at a time. - Can't edit an entry to adjust the time even though there is a manual add feature to create an entry for a specific time.- Can't include any "Metadata" for each entry. If the app is logging every single time something happens instead of just a simple incrementing value behind the scenes, then include a "note" field for me to meta data that can be updated using the "edit" feature that needs to be added.- Would like to be able to set the default behavior for an individual tally to either just increment right there or display the manual add screen. Sometimes I'll have something I want to tally but I'm never able to do it right when it happens, so bring able to tweak the time by default when I tap to tally would be great. This would also be super handy if a note field was included.
I like how the ui looks and once I discovered that it also works with the iPad’s multi-window function, I bought the full version immediately. However, there were some things that I wished were improved on! 1. Unable to leave feedback in-app? It told me my mail was setup incorrectly, and yet I can buy the full version just fine? *shrugs* i dunno 2. The instructions to use is really bare bones and I had to figure some functions by myself. Did you know you can rename groups by sliding them to the left? I didn’t at first. 3. You can’t reorder groups once you made them. Seems like a pretty neat feature to miss out on. :( Oh, and nested groups/folders too! What if you have a lot of tallies? It’d be better if there were functions to let us organize them. 4. Using the tallies themselves is a breeze! Tap to increase, swipe down to decrease, and you can set up the increment in each tally’s settings. But sometimes, I need to +50 a tally and then return back to +1. It’s a lot of taps to get to the number I need. What if there was an option to enable left-swiping or right-swiping? I really like the app so far! Thank you for developing it and keep up the good work!
I’ve bought a LOT of apps over the years (10 years total) but this has to be my favorite of them all!!! It’s completely AMPED UP my discipline when it comes to my health and fitness habits! Setting up a points system for doing certain actions each day really motivates me to compete against myself and earn more points each day and week! (Love the statistical charts too!) I’ve set up separate “Health” and “Fitness” categories with lists of habits under each. I also award myself points when I avoid doing certain bad habits like having sweet drinks or sweet snacks. It’s completely customizable for whatever works for you but I’m sooooo excited about my health gains so far and what I’m going to accomplish this year!!!!!! Thank you QTALLY!!!
