A certain inexplainable dread creeps over me when I consider that this beancounting app somehow requires internet access in order to use. I’m certain I come across as entitled, but when the alternative options to an app include “pencil”, you get to be a bit choosy.

The simple fact that you need the premium subscription to use the widget is enough to show the damaging effects late stage capitalism has had on the value a consumer is able to utilize, you and so many companies have bottlenecked your products and services for profit. You use to offer a bunch of stuff and then the super super gooood amazing premium stuff costed an extra dollar, now you HAVE to pay $20 subscriptions to literally every single app to get the value that you should just get, you have a tally app, this isn’t ground breaking, you don’t need a subscription services, I’m tired of this, Jesus Christ just let me talking from my Home Screen.
