The app keeps disconnecting. Been a listener since day one and live in Florida since early 2000s so really need this app to stay in touch with all things football in England. But every time I replay a show it disconnects almost every two minutes. Worse still it goes back to the beginning not where it crashed on the stream. If I connect from house to car via air play again it will just disconnect from stream and go back to the beginning of the replay show on listen again. So annoying and so frustrating. While I am here the station is suffering with little or no content on some shows. The station has lost its way since its origin too with its presenters and their ability to entertain. So many old x pros use the old boy networking to shoe horn them in as co presenters and their input as way of offering means very little content. So many are Looking for an easy ride on treacle street again but are just offering their egos bravado and inability to give proper broadcasters diction to listeners that want something more disconcerting than their changing room banter of yesteryear and inability to know the difference between three and free fru and not through fink and not think! As just an example of the uneducated sportsman. Danny kelly Danny Murphy alex crook Sam matterface Johnny Owen all offer good content and entertain. But sadly the old boy X pros are still shamelessly advertising products and drop brand names on air just to get free items or remuneration and cringeworthy. Cmon TalkSPORT your better than the current version of yourself. Do better I’m sure your sponsors will tell you the same. 1 star

I love TalkSport, but I live in America so I don’t listen on the radio and rarely listen in real-time. But I listen on the app. I used to listen on the website (in the Listen Again section), but that was annoying because every sound bite was 30 minutes and you often needed to refresh. For about a year, the app has been the best. I listen to the SportsBar next day without fail. But when I updated either the TalkSport app OR my iPhone recently, the pause/fast forward/rewind functions result in the app buffering. Endlessly. Then I need to kill the app and try to pinpoint (with the precision of a diamond-cutter) the exact location where I left off by scrolling the timer with my finger. It’s a mess. At this point, the app is basically unusable for me, and it’s so disappointing. This is a 5-star app otherwise, and TS is absolutely brilliant. But I have to give it a 2 due to sheer lack of function at the present time. Note: I looked for other recent reviews reporting the same issue and only found one. So maybe it’s just me and my recent iPhone update. But now I’m stuck with the “newest” version of both the iPhone OS and the TS app. Soooo… back to the website I go 😢

I’m just realizing there is a “podcast” replay feature that allows you to listen to missed show from a few days back. Which has always been a issue due to the time zone diff NYC -5hrs and so much quality shows/presenters re: Brazil, Kelly, Georgie, Barry, Andy, Cundy, Parlour etc. The programming however, also needs a major kudos. Lee Clayton 👍👍. The new voices and melting point of perspectives Simon Jordan, Natalie Sawyer, Darren Lewis and that new young dude who from South London and does that Late Night shift and that Souf’ London documentary. I never caught his name but it’s refreshing to hear folks you can connect with having lived in Croydon myself. The change up brings about a discourse that’s as diverse as football and UK sport. I listen religiously from 1am US till the Midnight Train and when possible after to Late Night leading back into Alan but by then I usually fall asleep. Point is it’s addictive. Love that I can catch up tho. Bravo 👏 . Battery drain it is make sure you leave your phone charged overnight. Or else 🤦‍♂️ in the a.m.
