This was one of my favorite games and I’m glad they brought it back with the newer versions to match the phone system updates. I deleted it when I had my iPhone 6 because it couldn’t keep up. Anyway, my one gripe is that the store upgrades don’t carry over to the next area. I upgraded so much for the first market—by buying crystals, only to find out that I have to start from square one once I got to the next market. Not only that but it doubles the cost of crystals to upgrade. What costed 5 crystals in the first one costs 10 in the next. You can’t win unless you upgrade and you can’t upgrade without crystals, and in order to do that you have to—once again—buy them. As much as I love this game, I’m not going to buy crystals for every single market. If the developers can think of an easier way to earn crystals without having to play up to gold level, that’d be great; otherwise, I’ll just end up deleting the game because I can’t win. No point in playing if you have to keep buying.
What a strange game. It has potential, but some of the rules are just plain weird and counterintuitive for standard gameplay. The concept and graphics are nice, but my problem is that you have to play each individual board THREE times to get the maximum benefit - that gets a little tedious, but I can deal with that. Then you have to buy the same token pieces (security guard, mop, larger cart, check out girl) every time you advance to a new store. Most of your money/gems are drained by then, but I can even deal with that. The casino drains a lot of coins, but at least it’s easier to win here than on the cafe game and every blue moon you win a lot of gems, but never enough to keep you playing. The real issue is making it through each section THRICE no less and then being penalized for it by having to use a ridiculous amount of “hard to come by” gems just to keep playing!!! I’ve been on level 97 for ages because I only have 6 gems and you need 100 gems to open the gate. Like, for real? Not only that, but a scant few of my g5 peeps played this in the beginning, but now I’m the only person playing at all of anyone I’m connected to and now I can’t even play. I think this game needs tweaking. Seriously need to let people advance without coins/gems ....isn’t forcing us to play each board THREE TIMES enough? I believe if I clear each board I deserve to go on to the next round.... isn’t that what “winning” a level means anywhere else in the gaming (and real) universe?? *sigh*
Really fun and addicting game. A bit annoying that you have to play a level 4 times to get a "gold" score as its not based on points like other games. I think the casino is rigged because I used to play it all the time to get much needed gems - you basically NEED them to buy upgrades/powerups to get through higher levels - but for the last day I haven't won any gems and I've played at least a few hundred times and have only won coins. Unfortunately coins only help you out with the first upgrades on a food/device/etc. or playing in the casino ☹️ The event is fun but you only get so many butterflies and you have to clear all levels with them until more are revealed and the rest are behind a locked store gate that I need 100 gems to access 😩 I'm not a fan of games that require you paying real money to win, I didn't think this one was like that at first as I'm in the 9th store, but since I can't win without gems for upgrades/powerups and the casino isn't giving me any gems I think buying them is the only option. I also dislike that after you lose you can "buy" back a list customer or pay off a failed goal with 8 gems... If you don't you lose a life and have to start all over 😣 Sadly I will be deleting this game soon if I cannot win some more gems because I'm sick of playing the same levels over and over only to lose because I didn't make enough money or because I lost an impatient customer and don't have the gems to buy more customers.
