It appears that the majority of establishments that accept the GC merely look at the card, if at all. So, why not have the card in the app so you don’t have to carry yet another card. It doesn’t need to do anything beyond being something to show.

Hi I’m really new to having a Gold Card but I just leave it in my wallet so every time I open my wallet you can see that I have a Gold Card and they say to me at the counter you will get a 5% discount off your total bill that’s nice I say or I have to remember to shop at New World on a Tuesday cause it’s Gold Card discount. Oh yes I almost forgot because of winter Gold Card people get extra for there high rise in power useage. So thank you New Zealand keep up the good work.

Informative. Full of new ventures, ideas, money saving tips for Supergold card holders. I didn’t think it would be full of tips but found new things all the time when I would read through the site, for example, a discount for power with Genesis, discounts all the time. I never thought free travel was good for the NZ economy but Supergold holders paying half fare is fair. No more though. So onwards and upwards Supergold card.
