I use earplugs often throughout the week, and over time, the wax gets really compacted and pushed in where normal cleaning won’t get it out. It once got so bad, I suffered temporary hearing loss until I got it professionally removed. Since then, I’ve had to visit the doctor and have them do it professionally every few years. I really dread those days and the debrox liquid ear wax softener doesn’t help me, plus it’s messy - I don’t have time for that. So I went on the hunt for an at-home wax remover kit. I bumped into this online and even though it does seem like a hoax at first glance, doesn’t have amazing reviews, and a name brand I don’t know, I thought why the heck not. The first time I used it, I used it without the silicone cover (I know, you’re not supposed to) but my situation was so bad, I needed something sharp to lift the wax. I was VERY careful and slow. The camera was so clear it helped me navigate exactly where I needed to make sure I didn’t hurt myself (but also, I almost threw up looking at what was going on in my ears). I scraped a little bit of wax at a time and lifted up around the corners of the wax a little at a time and eventually, the entire mass (like the size of a pea) loosened and came out! I could have cried tears of joy. I can’t tell you how relieved I was that this actually worked and in the comfort of my own home in about 15 minutes!! I hope they keep this available to people who need it. It was worth every penny and I would purchase it again.

I have had this tool for a few months now and have been using it on myself to get used to it before using it on my fiancés ears. I finally decided to give it a go today and low and behold I have had issue after issue. The camera keeps trying to flip between left ear and right ear even though I am not touching the options. It’s glitching so badly that every time I adjust to the correct angle it flips and I can’t see what I was just looking at anymore. It took much longer to clean his ears than it should have and I still don’t think I got half of what he has stuck in there out because the camera kept flipping and his ears were getting irritated from me constantly having to readjust.

I’ve had my otoscope tool for many months now and it’s been a great app to use, but recently, a lot of problems came up with my app and my otoscope tool. First, everything is connected on my phone and the connecting process is fine, but whenever I try to go to the camera, it’s completely dark and all of my past photos and videos are gone. Even for the mirrored option for the camera, my inverted camera on my phone works but my otoscope camera doesn’t. My otoscope tool only turns on for almost a minute and then turns back off when the app says that my otoscope tool battery is either full battery or 90%. I’m very confused on why the app and my tool suddenly stopped working and I’m not sure what to do about it. I can’t return the tool either because I’ve had this for a long while now. Seems like I might have to buy another tool and forget this brand and the app
