StyleScanner: Find Clothes

This app is freaking stupid it won’t let me delete it and it has one of the worst programming systems run by ai. honestly don’t know how this clothing scanner app made it onto the App Store in its current state. I downloaded it expecting something fun and useful that could actually identify clothes from photos, but it feels more like a broken prototype than a finished app. First of all, the scanning feature is extremely unreliable. I tried it on multiple items—hoodie, jeans, even a plain t-shirt—and it kept giving completely random results that didn’t make sense. It would call basic items “designer wear,” then switch to something totally unrelated the next time I scanned the same thing. It doesn’t feel like it’s actually recognizing clothing at all, just guessing. The camera function is also frustratingly slow. It lags every time you open it, and sometimes it freezes completely, forcing you to restart the app. When it does finally process an image, it either takes forever or just fails without explanation. On top of that, the app is overloaded with ads. Every few taps brings up another pop-up or full-screen ad, which interrupts everything you’re trying to do. It makes the whole experience feel more like you’re being forced to watch ads rather than actually using a tool. The interface looks nice at first, but once you start using it, you realize a lot of the buttons don’t respond properly or lead to broken pages. Some features look like they were added just to make the app seem more advanced than it really is. Overall, it feels rushed, inaccurate, and annoying to use. I was excited to try it, but after a short time I ended up deleting it because it just wasn’t worth the frustration. I really hope the developers fix the bugs and improve the accuracy, because right now it’s barely functional.

clearly by the title this is a one star, why? 2 reasons — its run by AI and literally the FIRST thing i see after scanning pants is that i have to pay to see the matches, makes no sense, i know. anything that uses AI is just a red flag imo and this app is obvious proof for that. not to mention it makes no sense to pay for an app that just find clothes for you. google has a picture feature where you can find and ask questions without having to pay so what makes this one so special. the whole app is just to scam you for your money. i advise you NOT to pay for any subscription and just use google.

This app makes shopping so easy and fun and allows me to act on all of the inspiration I find across social platforms! I love saving inspo pics for events and even day to day outfits. This app helps me recreate all of the fun ideas I have saved!
