Got the lifetime subscription for free. Never usually leave reviews. My only suggestions are adding a widget to see screen time from the homescreen, fixing the glitch where it closes the app if the option to hide apps is on but then when refreshing in the app there’s time left and my app that closed lost progress/refreshed feed, and adding a notification when there’s a couple minutes left to save the game or post. Minor things, ultimately was able to gradually cut my screen time by 80-90 percent on average. Keep it up, recommended to a few people already!
I found this app while on Reddit and thought I’d give it a shot. It’s been great helping me not only be more cognizant of how much time I spend on my phone, but also helping me to keep active. My overall screen time is down! I’ve been finding other things to do than sit on my phone and doom scroll. I also like how much you can customize block usage. My only complaint is that I use a Garmin watch to keep track of my steps and the steps don’t seem to translate over to the app real well. It probably has more to do with the Apple Health app than Stryde and how it connects with Garmin. Regardless, I’ll keep using Stryde!
I’m very happy to have found this app while lurking on Reddit so I could block myself from lurking on Reddit. I’ve never written a review on the App Store before and likely never will again, this app has helped me in so many ways since I got it. Scrolling times are down, hobby times are up, steps are up. Which was exactly the goal. Worked great for me and the locking is a great feature. One major bug since the update has stopped the app from working properly for me, however. I’m unable to give it the ability to read steps. I pressed the button in settings since it said it didn’t have the ability anymore and it took me to the system screen to enable it, I flip the little switch and press done and… nothing. Still unauthorized. Other than this past day, the app has been perfect for me though.
