I recently found this app and have been using it (successfully) to help my son fall asleep. He has regular nightmares and going to bed can be a challenge. Well, he loves this app. I think the meditations are very well done, clever, and perfect for kids. The other night, my son’s last words before falling asleep were “I like this app.” All that being said, the $10 per month fee or $60 for a year seems very steep to me. I think it unlocks something like 25 additional meditations, which I just can’t justify. I would easily pay a dollar per meditation to own them. “Leasing” them for $60 a year I can’t do. So, it is an easy 5 stars for content and my 4 star rating is to encourage other parents to try it. The price holds me back from giving the full 5 stars it deserves.
I love what this app does. My kids use it every night and have been falling asleep much more quickly and sleeping better. We have used it for calming down and gaining focus while doing homework. It is incredibly helpful. But the price for the full app is ridiculous. I would love to purchase it but $120 or even $50 each year is insane. I’m especially discouraged because I feel like this app could be great for at risk kids learning how to deal with stress or kids that need help with coping mechanisms and the cost is SO prohibitive. I would pay $10 one time to purchase it. I would tell everyone about it. I would encourage my husband to use the adult app for his anxiety and sleep problem. But not at this price. They would likely have many more purchasers if they brought the cost down as well.
This is an amazing app. I am a really moody and sensitive person that can have mood swings at any time and in a blink of an eye. I also get really stressed out easily but this app helps me to feel better and calm me down (which sometimes I need). I really needed an app like this to help me relax and now that there is an app that helps me relax I feel much better and safer when I feel like I’m going to blow/flip out and then I know exactly where to go and what to do. So thank you developer(s) for making an app like this I cannot tell you how much I needed this app.
Meditation and mindfulness made easy and fun for kids, to help them discover and develop their superpowers of sleep, being calm, learning to breathe...
