Stoic AI: Crypto Trading Bot

I’ve been using Stoic for close to 6 months now and I actually really love it! The algorithm itself that is buy/selling crypto is really advanced especially if you are IN IT FOR THE LONG HAUL. Read that again before you put money in. This trades thinking longterm not in and out so remember that when you see loss. That side I’m very happy with, it is actually making me a fair amount of money. The reason I didnt give it a full 5 stars is because the app itself still has some bugs. Occasionally it will randomly log me out, and sometimes it will load in my pie chart but not show me the actual value or % gain or my account. Nothing too annoying I can always quit out and launch again or log back in, but those bugs are app only. The actual algorithm, AI that is trading is wickedly brilliant!

Let’s start with the fact that 99.9% of people reading this cannot trade with a disciplined process on a consistent basis especially devoid emotions. As well you likely do not have the time to trade on your own and quite possibly may not even know the basics of the Cryptoverse. I fall into two out of the three, I’ve been trading equity futures for a dozen years now and have recently realized that were are many more opportunities in the Cryptoverse than my “BTC&ETH” buy-hold & hope core allocation. Stoic has done a great job of entering trades I would never have found on my own as I (don’t have the time and the knowledge) The app isn’t perfect at times it can be slow but customer service is VERY responsive over the past 3mo. I started in Feb ‘21 and I’m up 113% FWIW that’s after the late spring Crypto drop. 5% is a hearty fee to pay however Stoic now gives you the opportunity to refer friends and receive a discount. You millennials like that “affiliate” stuff don’t you? 🤣 J/K I nearly 50 and jealous I never figured out that whole gig. But then I’d not be an ES and NQ cowboy! Anyhow, I started very small with $5k added another $5k (to which Stoic did a great job of properly accounting for the addition in its analysis of the apps performance) my Gemini account can’t do that. I’ll be adding more if Stoic keeps producing and my even give up my BTC&ETH HODL for them to trade. I say give it a try!

As other reviewers have pointed out, it is a bit more complicated than just downloading the app. You will need a separate binance account or sub account but if you are familiar with crypto, it’s pretty easy to setup and get started. I haven’t been using it long enough to really gauge performance (I feel I need a year at least) as crypto is so volatile, it can be up on one day and down the next. The APP works well but is still new and lacks features I’d like to see like showing balance in BTC. This is a great concept and I love the ability to unlock hedge fund strategies for the masses but do keep in mind this creates a lot of taxable trades. Unless you live in a country with no capital gains, you will have to track and pay short term gains on your portfolio which does have a significant disadvantage to an actual fund. API connection from Binance to a tax tracking system is the best way to keep track but will also require added monthly cost. No adjustment needed for active traders but HODLRs should be advised to go in with a plan.
