I downloaded this app 3 days ago. Wanting to get serious about tracking my steps and all. I found this App and really liked it because the interface was clean. Love that I can see my steps from my Home Screen as well as my Lock Screen too. Well as mentioned 3 days in and Iโll have to delete it because itโs just not accurate. I know I havenโt taken as many steps as this app claims. In fact I laid down for 30 mins with the last record before setting down my phone was 256 that morning. I arise from my rest with an additional 115 steps that I certainly didnโt do unless I was horizontally walking ๐ฉ๐ง. I noticed the same while driving. It was a set number before I jumped in the car. And hour and a half later I arrive at my destination , I miraculously walked an extra 300 steps. I canโt use this app. Itโs highly unreliable. I really wanted to like it butโฆ itโs a no for me. Use at your own risk. Especially if you want to keep track of your steps and your progress for certain goals.
I wanted the ability to see my steps from the home page on my phone and now I can! The app itโs self is self explanatory and easy to use. My favorite part of all is itโs free! Usually an app like this would cost $5.99 a month! Being able to be up to date on my steps is something I treasure. You might be thinking, why do I need a steps app? I already have my health app! This is different considering the widget option! This app is very straight forward, only focusing on steps. Reaching past 10,000 steps a day is the goal of the app! This app helps encourage and boost self confidence in reaching your goal. It sure helped me!
This app is really nice looking on the screen and best of all IT UPDATES YOUR STEP COUNT EVERY FIVE SECONDS! Every five seconds you get an update of how many steps you've take since the last five second update!!! So basically, every time I take out my phone to see how many steps I've taken, I only have to wait five seconds to see my progress. With Apple's own health app, every time I take out my phone to get an update, I just stare at it and there's no update forever and ever! The other free pedometer apps I looked at also did not give updates with any useful frequency approaching on demand step count information. The only drawback is that you can't set the goal, which is set at 10,000 steps per day, but for a free app, with no ads, and no in-app purchases who can complain?!?! I do think this developer has an app that probably allows you to set a goal. Given their generosity, creating such a simple and functional pedometer app, I think eventually I'll probably buy their bells and whistles app at some point in the future, if anything, just to say, thanks!
