Stasher Luggage Storage

Ultimately, I was pleased with the actual service from the storage location and would use it again, but I now have lost a little more hair thanks to the app which has ZERO customer service. Next time I will know what to expect, but this app is not for the faint of heart. I did drop off and retrieve my bags safely, but getting it was a harrowing journey. I was time crunched and the actual address of the drop-off location per the app and emails took me to the wrong place. Messaging with. The app tried to no avail. The customer service line sent me to a fax line. I was able to find the actual location using google search. The actual drop off and retrieval was easy. I’m not sure my bags were stored as securely as I might like, but there were no issues there.

Needed a place to store our luggage in Washington D.C. yesterday, so we tried this app for the first time. We found a storage place (hotel) close to the building we had tour reservations for and booked it. No issues with booking at all. Dropped our luggage off, they tagged our luggage and gave me a tag with a claim number so I could pick my luggage back up. Picking up our luggage was just as easy. It was awesome to have a place to bring our luggage since we had to check out of our hotel and had too much time to waste before our flight. Great concept and more affordable than another storage app that has to do with luggage. ;)

I don’t normally leave reviews but figured I should here since I was originally skeptical due to the low number of reviews on this app. My experience with Stasher in San Diego was quick and easy with no issues. I liked that the app didn’t try to hide what the location was before you booked — the location near me was a hotel and I was able to call and verify that they did have a partnership with Stasher. This was better than other apps I was looking at which did not disclose the actual location until after you booked — those other ones felt a bit sketchy to me. I booked my spots with the Stasher app, arrived at the hotel, and dropped my bags off within 5 minutes after they checked my ID. I was able to pick them up a few hours later and felt that they were secure while I was gone. Overall very happy with Stasher, despite some initial skepticism — will definitely use them again!
