SRX Connect

After not updating this app for 8+ years, JBL came out of nowhere and addressed the issues encountered between the app and the newer OS found on modern iPads. You can read all about these issues in all the other reviews over the past few years, so I won’t go into detail. But suffice it to say, this app was unusable for many years. I’m sure most people gave up on it and don’t even realize it has been fixed. This has been a much welcomed fix, as I still run a small SRX800 series rig from time to time and actually being able to use the built-in network ports for their intended purpose makes this feel like the system it was designed to be again. Thanks for listening to the countless unhappy users JBL, even if it took you way too long.

The main reason for using this app was the benefit of sculpting my tone with the 16 band EQ. But that is impossible now with the latest iPad software update. Like another reviewer said, there is no way to view the bottom of the screen. Without the use of the app, I have no way to access the sounds I was getting through the amp. Now I only have access to the few presets on the amp which don’t have the nice high end and scooped mids I was enjoying. Total bummer.

When I updated my iPad to the newest iOS 16.1 the program screen will not let you connect on the bottom. I delete the program and re download it still did the same thing. I lost all my saved files for different locations settings.
