Squad Up!

This isn't even anywhere near the size of a decent game demo, BUT, it feels like it could be pretty good or even great. The basics are there; nice solid graphics, your character feels good to control, the hoards are satisfying (if a little easy) to mow down, but as it stands, that's about it... It's just one level of that which is completed in a few of minutes! I'm not entirely sure why it has been released so unfinished - maybe "beta test" should be in the title as people will be expecting a lot more than what's on offer here. Difficult to rate in this current state, but let's be generous and give an average score of 3/5 - looking forward to seeing this develop into its full potential!

Early days, the game looks good and plays well but there is very little to do in the game at the moment. The developers say this is only the first version of the game and future updates coming soon, so will wait for those before I delete the app as this game has a lot of potentially. Get the app if you are looking for a quick bit of fun and willing to wait for updates as it looks like it could be a great game Don’t get the app if you are looking for a complete and well polished game, as it is definitely not that ... yet.

This game doesn’t falsely advertise like others, what you see in the trailers is what you get however there are a few problems that need to be addressed. Frame rate: Frame rate will drop immensely in certain areas preventing the player from being able to do anything until resolved. Latency: On the topic of Lag the game can have trouble after killing some creatures or when a large group approaches causing the game to slow until they disappear or are killed. I see this game having a lot of potential for being a fun co-op experience however I believe it’s far from finished. Regular bug fixes and updates can bring this lagging mess to an amazing game. Don’t feel disheartened developers, you’re on the right track but first you need to fix the train.
