SpeakTrip - Learn & Translate

I was enjoying using this to help supplement my language learning, or I was for the first few sentences. After maybe 7-10 uses, the app completely locks you out unless you upgrade; you can’t even access any of the free sentences you saved. It’s really frustrating that their website and marketing says the app is “always free” unless you want to access premium features—which is the entire app. Intentionally misleading and leaves a very sour taste in my mouth, enough to make me question if I want to keep using/subscribing to other apps from the same dev. If they’re trying to take advantage of their users on this app, how am I supposed to trust their other products?

This app is amazing and I love the variety of languages and I also love the other spin-off app falou it is great, but yep there is a but, I do not like how it pressures you into buying a premium and how it makes it feel like it’s mandatory to buy it or you can’t get a good education off the language. Other than that the app is great I love the aesthetic and how it makes you feel good about learning a language. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
