Sounds: The Pronunciation App

The idea of this app from the leading practitioner in this Adrian Underhill is great but the people who developed it did a poor job. The sound is poor, the graphics are very basic and boring and the instructions are small you need a magnifying glass. Adrian deserves a first class app attached to his name. I also recently purchased a Word list but it didn’t download and when I contacted customer service they basically said to me to jog on. Macmillan is better than this. Fix it!

This would be a really excellent app were it not for occasional errors — including a missing phoneme — all of which could easily be fixed. An upgrade is overdue.

The free version is much better and stable than the paid one. I bought all the words and the now just doesn’t work. I already contacted the “contact us” but they just ignored me. I paid for the paid app, bought all the words list and the app just doesn’t work. It overlaps and you can’t see all the windows properly. And the “contact us” personal just doesn’t care, apparently, as they not even answer your questions regarding what you paid for and what you get. DON’t ever buy this app, use the free. PLEASE, I REQUEST A REFUND FOR THE WORDS LIST I PAID FOR AND THE PAID APP WHICH DOES NOT WORK.
