SoT Companion (Unofficial)

This app is fantastic. It gives you everything you need to know about the Seas, and all for free. The storm tracker is super helpful, along with the other points of interest on the map. However, the app hasn’t been updated to the latest version as seen on the Rare Thief website. This prevents users from seeing possible boar wallow locations and ancient pillar locations as well, and I just feel like the app is so much more convenient than the website, so please, update the app!

It’s an awesome guide/map especially since I like to play solo and it’s just easier to stay above deck with most of the ships control coming from there. That way I don’t have to be running up and down constantly, and really the only time I have to move that much is when I need to go up to the crows nest or to the cannons if I happen to run into an enemy. Plus, since it’s unofficial and fan made and such, it’s amazing how they are able to keep everything constantly up to date , seeing as there are no ads whatsoever. Honestly, I wouldn’t mind ads with this app, because I only look down at it once or twice every few minutes unless I’m actively searching for something. If your a beginner and not used to the game this map works as a wonderful guide as well. If the devs have some free time, it might be nice to have a little guide (a place you can click on to get a bunch of tips and pointers to the game, idk) or something similar. Keep up the good work though

This app is unofficial to the game, but the level of detail and the amount of effort put into this app is definitely above par for what it is. I’ve been using this since a little after Sea of Thieves came out on Xbox One and it’s been accurate for me so far! No complaints from me especially at its current stage. I only wish it could connect to my account so that it could potentially be like gps or something too, but it just isn’t able to happen since it’s unofficial :( Oh well. Still an amazing companion app for the game! Keep up the good work!! 5 Stars because it’s an amazing unofficial companion app for Sea of Thieves.
