SmartTruckRoute: Truck GPS

I tow boats travel, trailers, and drive a motorhome. Plus my main truck is a Dually.. I live in New England and travel to and thru NY state a lot where it’s really important for me to know where I can go and where I can’t especially low bridges. This app app really helps me do that. Also points of interest like truck stops. Rest areas is extremely helpful for timing stops and figuring where I can get fuel that I can fit into. The only thing it does not do that I really wish it would it interact with my CarPlay and screen on my 2024 ram. that would be so helpful. It works a little bit. It’s just that the whole screen doesn’t fit so you can’t see what’s upcoming. I have to look at my phone for that. Otherwise, it’s been very reliable for me. I drive from Maine to Louisiana several times a year and from Maine to Key West several times a year. Route options works well as I avoid DC and the GW always!!

Ive been using this app for 4/5 years now. For the past three years, I haven’t even looked at my Garmin or RM. They’re in a bag underneath my bunk. This app does everything I need it to whenever I need it done. It has NEVER put me in a bad situation, ever! Sometimes I do have to make a personal decision to ride up another street or few miles to a better turn/situation simply because of what I’m hauling, not necessarily a fault in the app. Everything is not always on a flaw in gps system, if it told you to drive off of a cliff would you? For someone that does a lot of over dimensional & 60ft+ loads that’s saying a lot, to me at least. All in all it’s an amazing app, would recommend it to anyone. I’ve put a lot of food on the table for my family using this app, you will too.

I updated this app recently and since doing so, while using the app it will disappear from my screen when before the update it stayed on my screen consistently without fading into the background. Is there something I can do to change it back?
