Smart Switch my Phone Transfer

I clicked on the app to review how it work and charged for an annual subscription and there no way for me to cancel it so now after a year I may get charged again and I never want to use this app! Apple said they were requesting my refund and removing the app nothing has happened now the app send notifications!

It downloads about 4% of the data I’m trying to send across and afterwards it cuts off on the device I’m trying to transfer everything to. I’ve tried reducing the amount of files to send (one folder at a time/ less) and leaving both screens on by changing the time out but to no avail. I’m open to other suggestions if you have any. My receiving device is an IPhone whereas the sending device is a Samsung.

Does it copy the data and stay on both phones or does it transfer and data gets moved??
