This is my first smart sump pump. Setting up the Wi-Fi through the app did not work. I have IT networking background and I knew what it could be. I could not find any specs on the Wi-Fi card. After finding an old manual online there is a an alternative way to setup Wi-Fi on the sump pump. And after getting into that way. I found the issue. This Wi-Fi card only supports WPA2 and only on 2.4ghz. I had to downgrade my router Wi-Fi security from WPA3 only to WPA2/WPA3 mode. Only after this and using the alternative way it connected and stayed connected. There has to be a better way to provision Wi-Fi on these things. All in all the app works. I had a service technician come to fix some leak on the check valve and he was testing with the different float sensors and the app did notify me through app as well as email of the different alerts.

I thought this app. Would give me important information about how my system worked. Also if it malfunctioned it would perhaps notify me. NO all this app. Does is collect your personal information to sell it to 3rd party’s. I’m extremely disappointed and feel let down. This system was THOUSANDS of dollars …..!!! I most certainly expected more. Don’t bother filling out your info. Once the have it they are going to sell your information. I’m sure people are going to pay them big money for people that just paid Thousands of dollars to get their basement water proofed. If I could give it a ZERO star I would. This is not the first negative review. It’s obvious this company does not care .

The app started out working well, but after the iOS update it’s like it broke or something and there were a ton of issues. I called the tech support number and they said it was going to be fixed and to make sure I do the update as soon as it’s out- I was pretty skeptical but it actually worked and now it’s better than before. I love this system again!
