Slices: Relax Puzzle Game

I have got to say they were right that this is super relaxing and it's not like games that are really easy all the way to the very end of the levels but it's actually getting progressively harder but still not impossible! One reason you should get this game is that it really does give you something to do when you're bored, I have played this for almost a year straight so I can tell you how addicting it is and how it never gets old! There are some ads and they can get annoying if you are really not into ads but it's not too bad, unlike other games where I have deleted them because there were ads every two seconds it felt like. So don't download if you have a thing about ads, but I can tell you that they really aren't THAT bad. It's also completely free because unlike other games, there are no in-app purchases unless you are dying to get tickets but you get those every time you beat a level so you can't be too picky but they don't offer a premium version or a VIP version which is nice. Have a good day, and I can promise you that your days will be just a little more fun if you download this game! I hope you take my advice but don't download it if you hate commercials very very much but again they are not too bad.

I don’t typically write reviews of games or apps but I felt that this game was definitely worthy of a positive review as I was shocked by all of the negative reviews! I haven’t experienced issues with too many adds or frequent crashing of the app so I can’t speak to that but, I think people just love to troll and write negative reviews. People seem to have a lot of courage when they’re sitting behind a computer, tablet or phone screen. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I love this game because it can be very relaxing yet challenging. I also enjoy the simplicity of the game. The designs of the “slices” are quirky, creative, and colorful. I love to play this game when I’m trying to wind down before bed! As relaxing as it is, it can become very addictive and challenging if you’re a competitive person! I feel like I could play this game for hours on end (if only I had the time)! The only thing missing is the ability to choose the design of the slices. Sometimes I get stuck on a level with a design that I don’t like and get frustrated because I know that I would find the game more relaxing if I could choose the design of slices. I hope this is something you’d consider in a future update! I’ve seen many other reviewers suggest the same thing and I think that it will only make the game better. Despite the fact that this app has a bad reputation for being an “ad trap,” I decided to take it on. After all, airplane mode exists, right? Well, at first I was pleased. No need for airplane mode, but it was discouraging that even if I hit “no thanks” to an ad, I got an ad (lol). As I progressed, I found it more fun on airplane mode since I could zone out and think while I played. Around level 20 I noticed that you needed 200+ to win levels, and getting close but messing up was frustrating without the continue option. So, goodbye airplane mode. When an ad played that I hadn’t hit “continue” for, I just backed out of the app. 30 seconds weren’t going to kill me, I spent ten times that long getting out of bed in the morning. Once I hit around level 30, the inadequacies of the game’s algorithm started to annoy me. How could I possibly place seven bottom left pieces in a row? I was flabbergasted and about ready to say, “Well, I’ve reached that point everyone was talking about, it’s impossible!” Around this very time the new update went through. I clicked on the big play button and— What is that hammer? Little did I know, that hammer was the saving grace of this otherwise poorly designed app. Now with the ability to smash pieces the game is much less impossible and much more achievable. I’m impressed that the developers were self aware enough to install something like this, and hopefully will install a “coin” feature where extra lives and hammers can be bought through an in-game currency acquired through completing levels/daily challenges. Well done!
