I downloaded this game through Tester Buddy, and I love it. I have been playing for a few days, and Itโs the cutest game I have seen so far. The train runs along the tracks with saw blades on the side, cutting through the resources. Here and there the whistle blows. Collect the resources, and upgrade the saws, capacity, and speed of the train. I have learned a few things though. The boxes with the perksโฆ eg. Watch the add and get 2x coins for two minutes. I clicked on the box. I donโt know if I actually did get the 2x coins, but what I got, was swarmed with ads for about 15 minutes. I donโt click on them anymore. You will collect TNT on the tracks while riding around, but use them wisely. Anything you blow up, you will loose those resources. Go into the shop every 24 hours to get the FREE chest. It will contain clothes, and a cat. The clothes protect you from the lightning and fireworks, so keep upgrading those items. The cat gives you a little extra resources. As for a lot of ads, I played for over an hour, sometimes longer, and saw two ads.
I have been playing this game for a couple of days, the concept is really fun and itโs a relaxing game to pass some time. But the ads are CRAZY and extremely intrusive. I am all for free games using ads to make money as i understand it is necessary, but most of the free games i play regularly will at least give you a little boost or a reward for being forced to watch an ad. Whereas in this game thereโs no incentive to watch the ads you are just simply forced to, and they interrupt your gameplay at random, itโs not like other games where when you finish a level you get an adโฆ that makes sense. In this game you can maybe spin your train around the track twice and the ad will pop up in the middle of you pressing the screen so i almost always accidentally click the ad. There is a little warning that pops up in the corner saying โad in 1,2,3โ etc but it makes no difference when i canโt get further than clicking 3 buttons without an ad popping up. I am the type who doesnโt mind spending a few dollars for a game I like to remove the ads. But 10$ for no ads in a game like this where i would be finished with it in a few days is crazy work. If you want people to actually play your game you need to make the ads less intrusive and maybe make them optional with a reward, with the exception of a few ads in between if no one is voluntarily watching them for the rewards. Iโm all for making your money but this just screams greed and makes the game borderline unplayable.
Iโll start out by saying that I did pay to get rid of ads, and I do wish they had more variety of islands because they just keep cycling over and over again. BUT! This is one of the most soothing and relaxing games that is still so satisfying to play. Iโve found that it really helps soothe my anxiety at night and can even help me fall asleep just watching the train go around the track constantly. Every time I play this after Iโve gotten comfy on the couch or settled into bed (or while taking a little break at work ๐ณ), after about 5-10 minutes I find myself dozing off while my finger is still on the screen and the train just keeps going. You donโt need to watch ads to advance and enjoy the game, but I do think it is very worth it to pay to remove ads. You will still have to watch ads to get power ups, but it is not impossible to play without the power ups! This might be too simple of a game for people, but if you find yourself needing something to do to just unwind or occupy part of your brain while listening to a podcast or something, this is a great game for that! (Iโm giving 4 stars just because I think there could be some more landscapes added, and maybe even a couple that are symmetrical all around for extra satisfaction)
