The old version of this app may have had a few glitches, but the update is basically unusable. It won’t remember color settings from previous nights, it won’t display saved routines, sometimes it won’t even pull up the FAQ page when I try to figure out how to make it work. The last thing I need when trying to get my kids to bed is fighting with this glitchy app. There are a ton of these lamp timers out there, so go find a different one, which is what I’ll have to do now.
The updated app is great. When you open the app, it finds your Kidstible, just click “connect.” Easy to change colors, sleep time, etc.
The app allows you to set routines for the light, but the lamp does not always turn on when it’s supposed to. It’s irritating but usually not a huge problem…until today. Fun fact I learned this morning: the app/lamp has no concept of Daylight Savings, somehow, so my kids were up an hour early on a Sunday! Yay!
The lamp functions as a progress bar for nap or night time. And the unique battery shape helps toddlers connect with the reason for rest—to recharge!...
