Simplebills is a predatory company that manipulates and deceive its users by making up utility figures with no proof. When asked to provide evidence of the electricity we used they said they could not provide it… because they MADE IT UP. They can basically charge you whatever they wish and refuse to show any proof when asked. They continued to charge us months after ending our lease claiming that we had another charge left to pay. They ended up charging us 14 months for a 12 month lease. Their behavior is shady and the support is none existent. They created a whole new bill to charge us for the single final day of rent (31st) and taxed on a “monthly” fee for a period that was one day??? It’s straight up criminal and unethical behavior. I genuinely don’t understand how they are still operating and haven’t been sued into folding.

They started sending me emails to sign in right after I’ve signed my lease to my apartment. I don’t understand how they got this info, but this is very much predatory. SimpleBills just a little warning if you charge my bank there will be a problem.

Unfortunately, we are unable to make any changes to your billing and are unable to issue another invoice later when the actual bills arrive and if the bill was underestimated or overestimated as we will no longer be managing the utilities for your property after this invoice.
SimpleBills was created in 2008 when two roommates couldn’t stop arguing over their utility bill. One guy would always end up paying the bill, while t...
