Sight Words Reading Games ABC

Learning sight words can really work like magic. My son is 3 and started showing a lot of interest in reading. He sees his older brother reading all the time and naturally wants to feel included. This app has been wonderful for him. I selected the prek level in the app (the app goes up to 3rd grade). He has now picked up almost all of the words in that level! Reading is so much quicker and easier when you have that practice with common words. I like that he can use the app on his own. There is a good amount of activities and games. And he loves them. He asks me to let him play with the aliens almost every day. Overall worth the money. Especially because I expect he’ll continue using this app as he gets older

This app has been an amazing help for my 4 year old son! He is going to start kindergarten this year and so I am trying to get him a head start in reading. A couple of months back, he started losing interest in our reading time. He got to a point where he could sound out each word but was not able to blend the sounds. What’s worse, he started avoiding our reading time. So I went looking for some way to gamify reading practice for him. This app was perfect for that! The games are fun and easy for him to navigate through on his own and he actually ASKS to play with this app everyday. We usually do 30 min sessions. I like using the Pre-k and kindergarten set of words with him. Although the app can go up to 3rd grade and I plan to use that as he gets more comfortable. I think this has really helped him to more easily recognize high frequency words. It also helped build his confidence. It’s as if something finally clicked for him!! He’s now easily reading short decodable books (like Bob books) and is visibly enjoying it. I’m so glad I got this for him. Highly recommend!

While it’s not a multi subject app, this app is so good for learning sounds, words, spelling, etc. My daughter (5) can navigate through the app on her own & most importantly has not grown bored with it like others on the market. It goes up to 3rd grade level which I didn’t know until we came across some more difficult words but you can choose the different grade levels. *We did purchase all the categories.
