SHRM Exam Prep 2026: HR Tests

I bought Pocket Prep SHRM-CP to supplement my learning with the official SHRM Learning System. I had been doing well with the official SHRM system but I wanted something on my phone because I have a tendency to waste time playing games or doom scrolling social media when I should be studying! So I was recommended Pocket Prep and decided to use it in my last month before my test date. I enjoy it very much, its test lengths are perfect at 20-30 questions so I don’t get antsy and the dashboard provides great insight into how prepared I am for the test. I think the content of the questions is aligned well with the SHRM-CP Learning System and it’s great to have a sort of “remix” of the same questions because I unfortunately have a great photogenic memory and tend to quickly recognize what answers go with which questions without always understanding “why.” This app helps me see the same concepts in a new light and understand more thoroughly!

This is a good app to use for studying for the SHRM-SCP exam and there were a couple of questions that came up in the exam from the app. However, I do have a couple of callouts. There were a few items that I flagged in the app for various reasons (incorrect answer, typo/confusing, etc.) that gave me a little distrust in the app. There is no follow up either to hear if the questions got addressed. My biggest complaint is that the app significantly lacks situational judgement questions, and the exam encompasses half of them! The creators of this app will definitely need to address this to give test takers a more realistic preview of the exam.

I took the SHRM-CP exam in January only using the BASK supplied by SHRM and I failed. I am a terrible test taker. I used this app and reach 100% ready having answered over 500 questions and feel this app helped me pass my recent test in 6/28 but also helped as a study guide when I did not know the language or new terms. I paid for the full explanation and it was well worth it. I did repeat questions but sometimes there were as all of the following or all the following except style questions.
