This is a simple and clear sky map. The way it shows deep sky objects took me a little while to understand but now that I see how it’s tracking and labeling them it’s very effective. Reminds me of the old DOS app SkyGlobe, which was a gem.
I am an astro app addict and this simple app kicks butt! There are times when you want to take a quick look at what's up in the sky tonight and this app does the trick. I like the 180 deg. option of seeing and tracking the sky in the direction you are facing. Also, there is just the the right number of stars presented so your view is not cluttered. Check it out and see if you agree. You also can't beat the price! (Free).
