i used to really enjoy this game, but i had to reset my phone and even though i reconnected it to my iCloud my data wasn’t restored at all!! tbh it really disheartening and makes me not want to play again… especially since i used money on it ;-; so if you’re playing this don’t delete the app until you’re done playing!!

When I first saw this game my first thought was, “Oh no, the mc is going to be super dramatic and emotional and all over the place.” And in some cases, she is. But I’m happy to say I’ve been mostly proven wrong! Although she can be a tad aggressive or melodramatic, I was surprised to see her actually care for and be a good listener to the guys. She gives good advice too! My first playthrough was in Parang’s route, and I about cried. I thought there was no way any other of the guys were going to be better, but I was wrong. Parang and Haejin are my soulmates. I thought Dohwon’s route and his interesting relationship with the mc was very creative. Kudos to the writer! The mc’s pushy personality is a good match for a lot of the characters, although I will say I didn’t feel it as much with Taehee. Minor spoiler, but in Haejin’s route in the beginning the mc stalked and slightly harassed him, so I was a bit iffy on that... but I loved the rest of it so much I slightly forgave it. A fair amount of cursing. However, I never got to finish with a romantic ending. This is very much a pay-to-play if you want the romance. I never got any of the login bonuses either. Slightly disappointing, but what can you expect? Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience. I highly recommend!

I found this game by chance browsing tumblr, where I have an otome blog. I’ve actually been on hiatus from playing any game but Secret Fan Crush made me fall for the genre again. I’m a kpop fan so an otome game with super relatable MC who stays up to scroll SNS, watches stages, makes gifs, and buys multiple albums and merch?? I definitely have to play. The game has really pretty art (I’m especially looking at you Taehee) and good/fun writing. Each day/story feels rather episodic so I don’t feel pressured to keep playing to a certain point. There isn’t a x amount of chapters/day either so you’re not limited there. The date stories do require in game currency however those can easily be earned in game daily or purchased. I purchased to remove ads and support ^^9!! The UI is overwhelming at first but you quickly get used to it. Overall, I’ve really enjoyed the app, with its characters, art, and writing. Each character has a very different story so there’s someone for everyone! Hope you give the app a chance and have your FaveStar choose you. ♥️
