Screenguard: Limit Screen Time

I didn’t realize how much time I was wasting on social media until I started using Screenguard. It’s helped me cut down on doomscrolling, especially before bed, and my sleep has actually improved because of it. What I like most is that it’s fun, simple, well-designed, and doesn’t feel annoying to use. A little extra friction goes a long way. If you’re trying to spend less time on distracting apps and build better habits, I’d definitely recommend giving it a try.

Something about the ritual this app makes you do every time you are about to get distracted, not pushy enough to delete and not soft enough to ignore. My screen time is down literally 33% within the first two weeks after two years of doomscrolling.

Really loving this app so far. The design is clean, simple, and very easy to use, which makes it feel effortless to stay on track. It’s been surprisingly helpful for cutting down the time I waste on tiktok, reels, and other random scrolling. Since using it, I’ve been much more mindful with my screen time and spending that extra time on things that actually feel good and productive, like reading, working out, or getting stuff done. Definitely recommend for anyone trying to be more intentional with their time.
