SCEL Players’ Club Rewards

This app is pathetic. Nothing ever works. The scanner works maybe once every 30 days. How can we be sure the scanner is actually providing us with the correct results due to its abysmal performance? Have some of us won hundreds or thousands of dollars and don’t even know it because the scanner never works right? Many times it will not let you login. I keep thinking that it will get an upgrade but it never does. The North Carolina state lottery app is 1000 times better than what South Carolina has to offer. The only thing the South Carolina lottery app has over North Carolina is that you can use your Face ID to login but that’s only when it works. The players club is a joke as the number of coins that you need to redeem to enter second chance drawings or sweepstakes is way too high. Plus, the options that you get are poor, such as entering a drawing to win a lousy $500 but need 50 coins. Why not step up the game like other state lottery’s apps such as Florida and North Carolina where you can win much more and do so much more? You can’t even purchase tickets on the South Carolina app, so lame.

App really isn’t good for anything except checking to see if your ticket is a winner, and even that feature does not work the majority of the time. Georgia’s app allows you to buy tickets and has so many different up to date features. This app literally does nothing except scan your tickets….sometimes. Most of the time you get an error message. If it actually does scan your tickets, it does not add in the SCEL coins to your account. Make sure to pay attention to your coin balance before and after scanning each ticket to be sure coins were credited correctly. Suggestion for SC Lottery Officials: SC makes a killing off lottery sales. Please take some of the funds and hire a decent app developer/programmer.

I like to close all apps and whatever is open. Delete app. And go to store to find app to reinstall. With this update I initially accepted update opening app. Took me to the store but wouldn’t open. Only a blank white page. But once I deleted the app etc. Reinstalling it worked fine. My only issue is when I checked a scratch off it showed not a winner. And offered to enter a second chance. It didn’t not have the means on that page to click to view past winnings left. Made me search for it in Scratch off promotions. And I don’t think they list ALL promotions that tickets are still being sold. But I was able to scroll and scroll past many to find each 5 dollar scratch off to finally find the one I had. Use to be you could just click to view 5 dollar scratch offs and see all to scroll past. Now you scroll past 10, 1, whatever. To spy a 5. That likely isn’t it. Repeat scrolling with all mixed together to find what you are looking for.
