Saatchi Art: Buy Original Art

App is buggy, customer service is awful, it takes moths for artists to get paid. Customer service is rude and demeaning trying to cover their failures with blatant lies. It can take DAYS if not more than a week to get a response to an email. Demand you are home for courier pick up but fail to actually dispatch anyone, then ask you to drive it to a drop off location and demand you do it immediately. They want to make getting a payout as difficult as possible and it can literally take MONTHS. and once they deem you worthy to request a payout it takes another 10 business days. (ANOTHER TWO WEEKS) And you can only request one payout at a time, meaning while you have to wait all that time to finally get paid you can not request another. Simply absurd for a company charging artists 35% and overcharging the customer for shipping by four plus times actual retail shipping. (They hide that absurd upcharge in the price of the artwork and disguise this repulsive practice by offering ‘free shipping’) Never has a company cared less about the artists. Simply terrible people.

I am really impressed with the app and have had many hours of enjoyment, as well as productive work. It is an easy to use app providing a clean layout and image quality to show my paintings. I don't have to way to edit in my computer. Also great to search other artists work. I am also able to see the art thru the camera lens and get a good idea how it looks on different locations and rooms. This is a great feature for design and curating purposes. I can also track and see how many people have visit my pieces. The platform is an exceptional tool for artists and collectors alike. It lets you edit the information on the go and love its many features. I highly recommend artists and collectors to download the app. Thank you Saatchi for creating this superb piece.

I love using the app to check out newly added art and check out the curated collections. You never know what you may discover. And saving them to my favorites/account means I can find them later. But my favorite feature is "See in a Room" where the app overlays the art over your camera viewer. Thank you for that! I only wish there were additional filters available on the app (similar to the website) - an art orientation filter (landscape or portrait) would really help since the preview photos are typically cropped.
