I enjoyed the layout of the app and the way of choosing runes from a big spread. The Rune meanings are also very good. But I soon realized that there are no reversed runes, which, to me, seem essential for divination. Thank you.
I have used runes for over 20 years and studied them in depth. The meanings are based on rune poems so there is a sort of cone of possible interpretations. Of all the apps this one seems to work best for me. It is not because the interpretation of the runes here is “right” or definitive, it is something else, it is as if the spirits of the runes flows through this app well. A good Oracle is one that works for you. A basic principle of shamanism is use what works and that is what determines it’s rightness not some abstract idea of accuracy or adherence to some academic ideal. Having said that, the runes do have right me poems and these interpretations in this Oracle appear to me to be in the cone of meaning that each one encompasses. See if it works for you. It works best for me and i have tried all the tine apps out there. I feel like I am settling into using these versions of the interpretations...because they work... for me. All the other apps work less well for me. But keep in mind this is an Oracle not the pure rune poem meanings. So using this app is like going to a rune master and asking for a reading rather than asking what the runes mean. I have hoped that a rune master out there would create such an app and perhaps one did here. I do not know. I am not a rune master in the least so take my option with a spoon of salt. But at the least I can tell you I get strong oracular insights from this app. Well done whoever stepped out on the limb and created a rune Oracle rather than just a rune meaning app.
I like this app. It is acurate, and easy to use. The only feature request I would make is to have an overview for the reading itself, not just the individual rune. Also, it should do reversals. Nice start though!
